Located 10 minutes off of “The Strip”, this 51,000 sq. ft. residential compound in Las Vegas, NV, has it all. Spread over several acers of land, the dramatic architecture and Spanish Colonial designs throughout this elaborate estate convey the elegance of a palace with the rivalry of a fortress. The resort-style home boasts a sprawling water park, baseball field, BMX course, regulation size hockey rink and basketball court, MMA gym, batting cages, golf simulator, and an endless funhouse of activities, movie theaters, and health spas.
Needless to say, complete customization is ever present. Just outside of the 50-person movie theater is a private poker lounge where high-stakes card games take place. It was our responsibility to lend our creativity and produce a custom aquarium that provided the ultimate poker game- with the ultimate back drop.
PROJECT BRIEF
Objectives:
• Create a dramatic backdrop to a custom designed poker lounge inside this Las Vegas retreat.
• Stay consistent with the Spanish Colonial interior without making the aquarium look dated.
• Provide a highly-customized look both inside the aquarium and throughout the hand-carved cabinetry design
• Be bold in our design and produce a product that would go unmatched- even in Vegas!
Specifications:
• Custom 400 gallon acrylic aquarium and powder-coated steel stand.
• Local filtration integrated with a complete remote monitoring system.
• Custom LED lighting system with complete motion-sensor automation and daily programming.
• The aquarium is surrounded by a completely custom, hand-carved cabinetry design that took over 100 hours to create.
• It incorporates sea life, detail, and confidence in its display and provides the added drama that every element of this property requires.
